Dear reader,
Well, Day One didn’t go as planned!
However, I still think it was positive.

Anyway, as I said up top, yesterday didn’t go the way I thought it would.
I thought I’d be telling you how I’d smashed my first workout, flipped over a car and killed a bear with my bare hands… just kidding.
But I did expect to be reporting some significant progress, well now that I think of it, I guess I actually am.
You see, I completed a whole day of intermittent fasting.
16 hours without eating and an 8-hour window in which I ate two whole food, protein-rich meals.
For me not to snack is a big win so I’m taking that.
However, I didn’t actually manage to do a proper workout. Circumstances dictated that my presence was needed elsewhere and I was kept busy.
I did manage my 10,000 steps though so added to my good eating, I’d say I made some positive progress, albeit not the significant step I’d intended.
But as I’m writing this to you now, I can report that I’ve already done 5,000 steps, completed a workout and am yet to eat my first meal.
I can also report that I’ve felt more energetic already this morning.
Following the dietary advice from the Warrior Monk program and repeating the affirmations from the Sexual Energy Mastery course has already helped with my energy levels.
I felt alive and with it this morning.
I believe this relates to not only the things I’ve just mentioned above but also because I didn’t act on any urges I may have felt after spending yesterday evening on the beach - surrounded by beautiful women.
Or funnily enough, as I mentioned this in a recent email, not falling into a rabbit hole of porn after clicking on an innocent trending hashtag on Twitter that included hardcore porn in their Top selections!
The fact that when I finally got home last night; I walk the dog, meditated, showered and went to bed at a reasonable hour was another win for me.
Actually, before I forget, that incident on Twitter serves as a good reminder of why you should get the Sexual Energy Mastery course (if you haven’t already) as Joseph covers this topic and how to make it a non-issue in your life.
The important thing for me on Day One was to see an improvement in my discipline as I believe this is going to be a key factor in me successfully completing these challenges.
And despite not officially exercising, I feel I achieved that in both challenges.
Anyway, I will be back tomorrow with another update but before I go…

“…I spent most of my time descending further and further into my chaotic mind.
I tried to get down the beach every day to counteract the destructive thoughts, but some days I couldn’t bring myself to leave the flat.
And as I enter another period of unemployment, I find myself stuck in my own head once again…”
