Dear reader,
The first workout is in the bag.
But let me ask you a question…
How did you get on?
If you’re taking these challenges with me then I’d love to hear from you.
If you’re on your own self-improvement journey then I’d love to hear from you.
If you’re struggling to make a decision about joining me or starting your own positive journey then I’d love to hear from you.
Let’s continue…
So, I did my first workout yesterday and… I feel achy today!
My arms feel heavy, my shoulders ache and my legs feel like jelly (more on that in a minute) but overall I feel good.
My diet was on point and my ‘no fap’ journey is intact.
Disappearing TRX
As I mentioned above, my legs are feeling a little sore and I walked the dog on jelly legs this morning!
And it’s because I did a full-body workout instead of the exercises proposed as part of the plan.
Now in my defence, I did this because I just couldn’t find the equipment I needed! So I went through the warm-up routine and attempted the full-body workout (in hindsight, I should have just switched muscle group days) which went well.
As I was neared the end of the program my brain suddenly switched on. After spending some time before the workout looking for the equipment I needed, the TRX, I finally remembered where I’d put it!
So after completing the majority of the workout already, I decided to attack the original routine with the newly discovered TRX.
But the ‘damage’ was done to my legs, which I really hammered!
You must laugh at yourself sometimes or you’ll go mad.
Anger
Well, I did actually go mad yesterday or more like, I did get angry.
No, I didn’t get angry at the TRX situation but I did lose my temper with my son and our puppy later in the evening.
I’ll be honest with you, I think it could be the new diet that made me lose patience.
I’d felt quite calm and chilled throughout the day but I could feel my frustration levels rising as I approached the evening.
Having just had one meal by this point, I wonder whether I was “hangry”: that dreaded mix of hunger making you angry.
Either way, I snapped at the dog for eating something that looked suspiciously like poo on a piece of discarded tissue paper and then snapped at my son for making silly noises as I was trying to sort out the dog situation!
Not my best moment.
Another possibility is that it could be the semen retention challenge making me have more of my natural energy stored within me as it hasn’t been ‘spilt’.
Whatever the reason though, thankfully, it was a quick release of emotion and everything was fine within a minute.
But it serves as a reminder to me that I need to keep my emotions checked as I now have a lot more energy within me, even after just a few days.
I will revisit the Sexual Energy Mastery course as there’s a great section that describes the importance of checking in on your emotions. I highly recommend it.
Conclusion
