Well, have you ever wondered why some drinks are called spirits?
It is believed that the word alcohol comes from the Arabic word “al-Kuhl” that means body eating spirit or “al-ghawl” which is referenced in the Qur’an in verse 37:47 to describe a demon that produces a sense of intoxications.
