Hey Crew,
Welcome back!
Being trapped in your own mind, with no clear way of escaping, is a scary place to be.
Negative thoughts running through your head on a minute-by-minute basis, building a suicidal and darkened mentality that seems impossible to get out of.
I've been there, I was close to the edge, a relatively short time ago, from a lifespan perspective, but far enough removed to be able to talk about it…
And try to help you.
Addiction is suicide
The depression, darkness and internal chaos you're creating for yourself with your addictions, will not stop until you're dead.
To think otherwise is suicidal.
The loneliness and isolation caused by substance addiction can lead to suicidal thoughts manifesting in a mind with no purpose.
A life with no purpose is a life not fully lived.
Find yourself a purpose and escape the confines of your own self-imprisonment.
Because when your addiction flips to suicidal thoughts, you'll need to get help. You're at a critical juncture.
Start cutting out the drama and chaos from your life, and pursue things that bring you joy, positivity and happiness.
If something like social media, or even interactions with friends & family are leaving you feeling stressed, depressed or suicidal, eliminate them now.
And of course, do everything in your power to escape your addictions.
Anyone who gets themselves sober, however they manage it, after being suicidal and at rock bottom…
Is a stronger human being than they probably get credit for.
Conclusion
If you're feeling suicidal, at rock bottom or gripped by addiction,
Life isn’t against you… you're against you.
You're alive, now it's time to fight back.
You can do something about this, you don't need to suffer in silence.
Reach out for help because you're not alone.
Get back to basics:
Walk in nature
Meditate often
Swim in the sea
Soak up the sun
Drink more water
Practice gratitude
Exercise regularly
Connect with people
Get plenty of fresh air
Eliminate toxic relationships
Eat more fruit and vegetables
Avoid the negativity of social media
